એલ.એચ.બોઘરા (શિશુવિહાર) શાળાએ પોતાની શિક્ષણયાત્રાના ૨૫ વર્ષ પૂરા કર્યા. બીજમાંથી વટવૃક્ષ બનેલી અમારી શાળાનો મૂળમંત્ર છે, કે “દેશને સુસંસ્કૃત અને સંસ્કારી નાગરિક અર્પણ કરીએ” શૈક્ષણિક જગતમાં પરિવર્તન સતત આવતું જ રહે છે, અને આ પરિવર્તન સાથે તાલમેલ મેળવી વિદ્યાર્થી સમાજમાં વધુ આત્મવિશ્વાસ સાથે ઉત્તરોત્તર પ્રગતિના પંથે આગળ વધી શકે તે માટે અસરકારક પ્રયત્નો સંસ્થા દ્વારા થઇ રહ્યા છે. અદ્યતન કોમ્પ્યુટર લેબ, ફિઝીક્સ, કેમેસ્ટ્રી અને બાયોલોજી લેબ, ઇન્ટર-એક્ટીવ બોર્ડથી સજ્જ વર્ગખંડો અને તમામ પ્રકારની આધુનિક સુવિધાઓ પૂરીપાડી પ્રવર્તમાન સમય સાથે કદમ મિલાવી રહ્યા છીએ. શિક્ષણની સાથે – સાથે સહઅભ્યાસ પ્રવૃત્તિઓ અને રમત – ગમતના ક્ષેત્રમાં પણ શાળાના વિદ્યાર્થીઓ અગ્રેસર રહે છે. આ ૨૫ વર્ષમાં શાળામાંથી અભ્યાસ કરીને ગયેલા ઘણાં વિદ્યાર્થીઓ ડૉક્ટર, એન્જીનીયર, વકીલ કે બિઝનેસમેન બન્યા છે, તો ઘણાં વિવિધ ક્ષેત્રોમાં ઉચ્ચપદ પર બિરાજમાન થઇ શાળા અને સમાજનું ગૌરવ વધાર્યુ છે. શાળાના હોદ્દેદારો, આચાર્યો, શિક્ષકો અને વાલી બધાં એક સાથે મળીને સાંપ્રત સમયની માંગ પ્રમાણે ગુણવત્તા સભર શિક્ષણની સાથે-સાથે સંસ્કારોનું સિંચન કરી એવા વિદ્યાર્થી તૈયાર કરવા જે પોતાના કુટુંબની સાથે સાથે દેશનું ગૌરવ વધારે એ અમારો મૂળ હેતુ છે..
શાળાની “રજત જયંતિ” નિમિત્તે અમારી આ ૨૯ વર્ષની શિક્ષણયાત્રામાં જેમણે સહકાર આપી અમારા પ્રયત્નોની ફોરમ ફેલાવી છે તેવા દરેક વાલીમિત્રોનો આભાર અને સદાય સાથ-સહકાર મળતો રહેશે તેવી અપેક્ષા સહ.

બાળક માટે જ ....
માનવીનું સાચું ઘડતર બાળપણમાં થાય છે. ઘર અને એની આસપાસના વાતાવરણમાંથી સારી નરસી ટેવો બાળકો ગ્રહણ કરે છે. અને એ ટેવ કે પ્રવૃત્તિ ચિરંજીવ રહે છે. આ સમાજ સાથે આપણે આપણા બાળકનો સર્વાંગી વિકાસ ઈચ્છીએ છીએ.
ઘરનું વાતાવરણ સ્વસ્થ સુમેળવાળુ અને આનંદદાયક હોવું જરૂરી છે. બાળક વડીલોનું અનુકરણ કરીને જ શીખે છે બાળક સ્વાવલંબી થવા ઈચ્છે છે તો કેટલાક કાર્યો તેની ક્ષમતા પ્રમાણે કરવાની તક આપીએ. સર્વ પરિવારના સભ્યોની એક સૂત્રતા હોવી જોઈએ કે જેથી બાળક હઠીલું ન બને.
પરિવારમાં સરખી ઉંમરના બાળકોની સરખામણી નહીં કરવી. સમય કાઢી બાળકોની, શાળાના મિત્રોની, પોતે કરેલ કાર્યોની ધીરજથી નાની-મોટી વાતો સાંભળીએ. બાળકો આ ઘર મારું છે, આ ઘરના પરિવારનો હું સભ્ય છું તેવો ભાવ તેનામાં પ્રગટ થાય તેવું વલણ અપનાવીએ.
બાળકો સામે કદી જૂઠુંનાં બોલીએ કે છેતરીએ નહિ કે જેથી આપણામાંથી તેમનો વિશ્વાસડગી જાય. બાળકોની ક્રિયાત્મક અને સર્જનાત્મક પ્રવૃત્તિઓથી આનંદીએ અને તે કાર્ય માટે તેને પ્રોત્સાહિત કરીએ.
હંમેશા યાદ રાખો કે બાળક કંઈ ખાલી વાસણ નથી કે જેમાં તમે વસ્તુની જેમ ગુણ- અવગુણો ભર્યા કરો. એ તો એક જ્યોત છે. તેને પ્રગટાવવાની છે. એક ફૂલ છે જેની સુગંધદુનિયામાં મહેંકાવવાની છે. બાળક જેવી મૂલ્યવાન સંપત્તિ બધાએ જ સાચવવાની છે. આજનો બાળક કાલનો યુવાન છે. દેશની ફરજ છે. સ્વસ્થ શિશુના સ્વાસ્થ્યમાં જ દેશના સુખદ સ્વાસ્થ્યનો આધાર છે.
શાળામાં શિક્ષકો દ્વારા બાળકની વયકક્ષાને અનુરૂપ પ્રવૃત્તિઓ અને શૈક્ષણિક સાધનો દ્વારા બાળકોને કેળવવામાં આવે છે. બાળવાર્તા અને બાળગીતો દ્વારા સંસ્કારોનું સિંચન થાય છે. તો રમતો દ્વારા સમૂહભાવના, સહનશક્તિ, શિસ્ત જેવા ગુણ વિકસાવવાનો પ્રયત્ન કરવામાં આવે છે. બાળમાનસને સમજીને સંપૂર્ણ બાલ માનોવૈજ્ઞાનિક પદ્ધતિઓ દ્વારા એના સર્વાંગી વિકાસનો પ્રયત્ન કરવામાં આવે છે. અમારા આ પ્રયાસોમાં માતા – પિતાનો સહકાર મળે જ છે. એટલે સોનામાં સુગંધ ભલે છે. ઉપરોક્ત નિર્દિષ્ટ બાબતોને જો માતા – પિતા અનુસરે તો બાળકનો સર્વાંગી વિકાસ મીનમેખ બને અને પાયામાં મળેલી કેળવણી બાળક માટે જીવનભરનું ભાથું બની રહે.
અંતમાં આવી ઘણીબધી વિગતોનું ચિંતન મનન કરવાથી આપણે બાળકોના વિકાસમાં કંયા અને કેમ મદદરૂપ બનવું તેની આત્મખોજ કરવી અને સરળતાપૂર્વક બાળકોને અનુકૂળ થવું એ આપણી ફરજ બની રહે છે.
